Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Vibestorm, run by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], collects about you and how it’s used. We collect only what we need to run the site, and we don’t sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, password (stored securely hashed by our auth provider; we never see it) and username.
• Profile details you choose to add: display name, photo, bio, headline, website and social links.
• What you post: projects, screenshots, videos, downloadable files, comments, messages, likes, saves, reposts, follows and reports.
• Basic usage: view and download counts on projects (not tied to who viewed), and standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, kept for security.
• Cookies: only the ones needed to keep you logged in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To run your account and show your public profile and projects.
• To send emails you ask for, such as verification and password reset links.
• To keep the site safe: checking uploads, handling reports, and preventing spam and abuse.

What’s public

Your username, profile details, projects, comments, likes, reposts and follows are public. Your email address, saved projects, messages and reports are private. Messages are visible only to you and the person you’re talking to, plus our moderators if a report requires it.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run Vibestorm: Supabase (database, file storage and logins), [HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. Vercel] (hosting) and [EMAIL PROVIDER] (email). They process data only to provide those services. We’ll share information if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. You can edit your profile, delete projects, or delete your whole account from Edit profile; that removes your profile, projects, files, comments, likes, follows and messages. Backups may keep copies for up to [30] days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to how it’s used. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we’ll help. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Vibestorm isn’t for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
